To anyone reading this who’s engaged - please, please take my advice and BOOK RACHAEL NOW!!!! She did such a fabulous job capturing our engagement photos two years ago and working with us closely in the weeks leading up to our April 2019 wedding to ensure that our event (and best day of our lives!) was captured FLAWLESSLY. Going into our wedding, we wanted to make sure that our photos looked organic and real, capturing the joy of the event in a way that seemed authentic to us. I can't even tell you how perfectly Rachael delivered on this. Rachael has a passion that clearly comes through in her work and you'll see that she'll do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot. It's such an important piece of remembering a magical occasion like a wedding and I'm so happy that we have all of these memories captured for life. She'll also make you look like the best possible version of yourself, which doesn't hurt!
Wow. I don’t even know where to begin with Rachael. She made our day SO fun. I highly highly recommend Rachael as she gave us the greatest gift for a wedding present - our pictures. They turned out more perfect than we ever imagined and she was sure to capture every single moment and detail of our day. She captured the posed and unposed pictures. She captured fun pictures of our family and friends. She captured all the details and decorations we worked so hard on for months before the wedding. She even captured our two crazy monster dogs who never stop moving and gave us the most precious family photos for us. She didn’t forget a thing and SHE had fun doing it!! She engaged everyone and made the pictures feel natural and authentic. We will forever treasure the amazing gift she gave us. The talent she has is REAL and GOOD.
The first vendor I knew I HAD to book when my husband and I got engaged was Rachael! I had seen her photography work on her Instagram and knew her style and personality were exactly what I wanted. Living in Maryland, I was afraid she was too far away to capture our big day, but she reassured me she loved to travel. On the wedding day, she was my photographer but I swear she was also my honorary 8th bridesmaid! We all had a blast on the day of the wedding and Rachael was there for everything I needed. From making sure I had a drink in my hand during the reception to helping late guests find their seats before the wedding ceremony, she was way more than just a wedding photographer. She went above and beyond and she truly helped make our wedding day so amazing! After the wedding, I had a few preview photos Sunday night and then she sent me several "sneak peeks" on Monday right before we left for our honeymoon!
On our wedding day, Rachael made everything easy and organized. We didn't have to worry about any details and really cherished being in the moment. Wedding photos will last a lifetime, and we think it's important to invest in capturing rare moments throughout the day. Rachael goes above and beyond what you expect a photographer to do. She definitely exudes professionalism but balances it well with her bubbly/fun personality. You can tell she loves what she does, and she loves making her couples comfortable and happy. Structure is important, but she knows how to be spontaneous as well. (The day of our wedding, she found a spot for our golden hour photos and on our way back to the venue, we hit up McDonald's for a snack and spontaneous photoshoot!) Rachael is the best to work with, and we love to keep in touch with her after our wedding day!
Hiring Rachael will be the best possible way that you can start your marriage. Seriously. Rachael was an absolute pleasure to work with from day one. My wife and I knew she was the photographer for us after our initial call with her. Rachael is professional, kind, giving, and the most beautiful, positive energy you could ever want to be around. Which - when it comes to getting married - is pretty much the best thing you can ask for!!
Rachael will make sure that the process is stress-free (obviously a major win for wedding planning) and she will capture you and your partner in the most genuine way possible. My wife and I will be able to re-live our special day forever thanks to Rachael, and that's the best outcome we could ever ask for.
I literally researched over 30 photographers for my wedding. I knew I was going to be super picky on who I let take our photos, and it was my one vendor that I did not want to skimp on. Photos from your wedding are for a lifetime and I cannot stop raving about Rachael to everyone that I know who is getting married. My wedding was kind of crazy but she captured the most beautiful moments and make the whole day look like a dream. You can feel the emotion and remember all the happy moments! My friends who have seen my photos ask me who took those?! She makes everyone look like a model! And to top it off, she is so down to earth, easy to talk to, and just so fun and friendly. My whole bridal party was like we loved partying with your photographer!
We stumbled upon Rachael when we were obsessing over a friend’s wedding photos on Facebook. They were so eye-catching and we knew her style was exactly what we were going for, so we immediately reached out to see if she was available for our wedding! I loved working with her because she’s organized, she stays calm under pressure (because let’s be real, not everything goes according to plan), she’s easy to communicate with and her enthusiasm for what she does is contagious (I always called her my hype girl). Our experience with her leading up to and on the day of the wedding was flawless and the final product she delivered exceeded all of our expectations. I would recommend her to anyone and I will absolutely be working with her in the future!
Rachael was the BEST!! She made the entire experience so much fun!! She was so easy to communicate with, super responsive, so energetic and just an all around amazing person!! She was so sweet and fun on our wedding day that we were actually sad when it was time for her to leave!!! She made the entire experience comfortable and there was never a time we didn't feel totally at ease with her. Our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and each one was better then the last!!! I don't even have words for how thankful I am that she was able to capture our day! I cannot say enough great things about Rachael - she's the best!!!!
Rachael captured our wedding day 10/5/18 and she did an AMAZING job! I really can't say enough good things about the entire process working with her. She was a complete joy to work with and made everyone feel so comfortable throughout the entire day of the wedding. Not only was she the best to work with, her work is amazing. I highly recommend having her for your big day, you will not be disappointed!
Rachael is the BEST! She gave us a ton of photos from the day and each one is better than the next! I don’t have a favorite wedding photo because I honestly can’t pick just one! I love them all! She was a delight to have hangout with our wedding party all day and made every single person feel comfortable!
To be honest, I had no intentions of hiring a photographer. I am pretty well off in the "taking photos on my phone and editing them” department. My partner finally came forward and said that if they could have anything at the wedding, it would be a photographer. So, that was that and the hunt was on. We Facetimed with Rachael and then met at Starbucks and drank our Pink Drinks while talking about our lives. She has a cat named Luna, we have a cat named Luna. She is a Disney fanatic, we are Disney fanatics. Talk about meant to be. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. Rachael knew how to engage our girls and her 5'2" self knew how to command the audience of out 6' + crowd. Rachael is a force to be reckoned with. Once we got out sneak-peak photos, there was no changing my mind. Rachael was our best decision for our wedding and we seriously look at our photos daily, in awe.
Where do I begin? First off, Rachael was AMAZING! Her sweet and kind personality makes it so easy to work with her. She has also has the patience of a saint! When all the craziness ensued after the wedding ceremony she was able to round up my large family and my husbands large family, direct everybody where they needed to be, and snapped beautiful photos. I can't even tell you how many compliments we've gotten on our photos. Two of my friends even hired Rachael after seeing our photos! I couldn't be happier with how they came out. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to hire a wedding photographer to give Rachael a try! I guarantee, you won't regret it!
Rachael was amazing! She photographed not one but two of my friend’s weddings, and I know I wanted to book her right then and there! I love the bright and airy clean photos and she spent SO much time with us on our groom and bride photos and there are soooo many I love! She's awesome!
Rachael is one of the most talented, kind, and passionate wedding photographers you will ever find. We met her by chance while vacationing in Cancun. We just got engaged and Rachael offered to take sunrise photos on the beach! They were gorgeous, she made us feel so comfortable, and it really was the icing on the cake to a perfect vacation. We booked our wedding for two years later and immediately booked Rachael as our photographer. Let me tell you about our big day! My husband and I chose to do a first look, knowing it would be more intimate even though a photographer would be with us. And my goodness, Rachael made our magical moments even more magical. She made us laugh, she stood in the pouring rain getting drenched to get the best shot, and she made us feel like family. She loves natural light, and even on a cloudy, rainy day, our photos were as bright as ever!
